✅The United States ranks first with AI engagement index score of 100.0 making it the clear Global leader. With a population of approximately 335 million, the US also shows high per capita AI engagement. This reflects a mature AI ecosystem. It is supported by top universities and major technology companies. Additionally, it has a strong open source developer culture. High engagement level indicates not only enterprise adoption but also widespread individual participation in building AI skills.
✅China ranked second with an index score of 29.56. Given it’s population of over 1.4 billion, China’s total AI engagement is large but its per capita engagement remains lower than smaller developed economies.
